An automatic pipeline for the semantic annotation of text documents written in Java. It integrates Natural NLP tools (segmentation, NER, term analysis, ML). New components can be easily integrated into the pipeline as a Java class.

A generic semantic search engine based on lucene. AlvisIR2 expands user queries using a lexicalized ontology, and retrieves documents that contain the concepts, synonyms and sub-concepts. AlvisIR2 search engines also handle relational queries.
