Assembly statistics

Shotgun Library

After Shotgun sequencing, no gaps were found to be larger than 4.0 kb and only 10 were above 3 kb. All sequences (~15,500) were assembled in one contig generating an average 4.5-fold redundancy (Phred value of bases > 25). Every consensus position had at least a double clone coverage (sequenced from both strands) or sequences from three PCR products amplified from genomic DNA. The final mean error rate on nucleotide leval was < 1 per 50,000 bases. The red line on the right graph indicates redundancy obtained after shotgun sequencing.
